After years building custom homes and high-end renovations on Sydney’s Northern Beaches, Caleb returned to Coffs Harbour in 2019 with a clear vision: to bring a higher level of craftsmanship, communication and professionalism to the local building industry.
Christian brings a complementary skill set shaped by years in both construction and education. A carpenter by trade, he later moved into teaching, leading construction pathways and mentoring future tradespeople. His experience reinforces the systems, planning and communication that help keep Forest Built projects running smoothly from start to finish.
Today, Forest Built is a team of ten experienced builders, carpenters and construction professionals delivering architectural homes, major renovations and commercial projects across the Coffs Coast. While the business has grown, the values remain the same — quality workmanship, transparency, accountability and a commitment to doing things properly.

For Caleb and Christian, building well means never compromising on quality — and constantly looking for better ways to do it. Embracing innovation, challenging traditional methods when there’s a better solution, and building homes that perform for decades, not just look good on the day you move in.
What bothers them most about the industry is the lack of transparency. Building projects are complex, and challenges come up on every job. Their belief is simple — clients deserve honesty throughout the entire process. Trust is earned through transparency, and that’s something Forest Built never compromises on.

Both Caleb and Christian are still heavily involved in the day-to-day running of every project. Caleb focuses on business management, client relationships and overall project delivery. Christian runs operations — systems, processes and making sure everything runs the way it should.
They’ve been fortunate to build a team of talented people who have been with Forest Built for years. That consistency is something clients feel — in the communication, in the care, and in the standard of every finished project.
One of their biggest passions is developing young tradespeople. Not just building great homes — building good people. If someone spends time at Forest Built, the goal is that they leave as a better tradesperson, a better teammate and a better person. That’s a culture they’re proud of.
