Most building projects are stressful because the process is unclear. Clients don’t know what’s happening, when it’s happening, or who to call when they have a question.
Forest Built is different. We’ve invested heavily in systems, communication and documentation so that every client knows exactly where their project is at.
Six steps. One dedicated project manager. Total transparency from first call to final handover.

01
First contact
Initial Conversation
Every project starts with a simple conversation — no commitment, no pressure. We’ll ask about your plans, your budget and where you’re at. If Forest Built is the right fit, we’ll tell you. If you need to speak to someone else first, we’ll point you in the right direction.
02
Getting into detail
Office Meeting
This is where we go deep. We’ll walk through your scope in full and give you an honest ballpark on budget. If you’re ready to move forward, we’ll present a formal quote proposal. You’ll leave with Forest Built’s onboarding pack and a clear picture of what comes next.
03
Making it official
Formal Quote & Contract
A detailed, fully transparent quote. When you’re happy with the scope and the numbers, we sign contracts and lock in your build start date.
04
Before the build
Pre-Construction & Approvals
Before construction starts, we finalise documentation, coordinate consultants and make sure everything is in order. Where approvals are needed — DA or CDC — we can manage that process on your behalf, or work alongside whoever is handling it. The goal is to get to site with a clear scope, a solid plan and no avoidable unknowns.
05
On site
Construction
Your dedicated project manager runs the site from day one. Regular updates, direct communication and full visibility over progress. We move fast because we’ve already solved the problems before they happen.
06
The finish line
Handover
A comprehensive handover pack — full documentation, warranties, maintenance guidance and a final walk-through. The job isn’t done when the last coat of paint goes on. It’s done when you’re completely satisfied.
Every client receives our Onboarding Pack.
From day one, you’ll have everything you need — how we communicate, what to expect at each stage, who to call and what happens if something changes.
It’s the kind of detail most builders skip. We built it into the process.
